When it comes to content creation, there’s so much that goes into what you make, but also why you make it. Content creation is so much than what normal people think it is, and here’s what beginners who are new to content creation should know, whether it’s a blog, Youtube video, or Tiktok.
Don’t make content because you want views, likes, or money.
Don’t make content because you want the views, likes, or money. It will be painfully obvious if you’re making content just for that purpose, and at most you’ll only earn a few pennies (or dollars if you’re lucky), and you’ll be much more likely to lose your followers. You should make content because you actually like making it and putting it out into the world, not see it as a quick “get rich” or “get famous quick” kinda thing.
Promote, promote, promote
If you want people to see your work, you need to promote your work amongst your niche. Use some appropriate hashtags, and make sure to promote your work every day if possible. You also need to promote your old work as well. If you have a Youtube video, promote it on a platform where you have more viewers, and so on and so forth.
It’s nice to be inspired, but don’t straight up copy
It’s so nice to be inspired by other content creators, but don’t just straight up copy their post word for word. I get inspired by seeing posts made by other bloggers, but I put my own twist on it because I use different products or word things a lot differently than they do.
Make content because you enjoy it
The key to content creating is creating it because you enjoy it. You need to enjoy what you’re doing, and the views, money, and whatnot that comes with social media will come after. Expecting instant views is merely a dream, and it takes tons of promotion and hard work (and possibly tears and a bit of blood) to even get your name out there.
Creating content is not easy, but with plenty of hard work and enjoying what you do, you’ll surely make it in the internet world.
Do you create content or have you created content?
