Now that we’re in the deepest throes of winter, it’s time for a winter makeup edit…or what would be a winter makeup edit if it wasn’t for this pandemic.
For eyes, I tend to reach for rose golds and pinks in general, and the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette is a prime example of how that goes. Chock full of rose golds and blush pinks, this is the most beautiful winter palette you’ll ever discover. The luxe pink palette option would be the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Instant Eye Palette. Although slightly warmer than the Naked 3 palette, it is beautiful and the shades are all perfect for this time of year.
For face products, I have a fair few products, Starting with highlighters, I have two favorites-the BareMinerals Invisible Glow highlighter (sadly discontinued) which provides a beautiful but subtle glow, and the Revolution Pro Lustre Highlighter in White Rose, a blinding pale champagne. The one face palette of the winter is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit, chock full of six curated powder products that allow you to mix and match to your heart’s content.
For lips, I also have a fair few favorites, although all of these favorites are lip balms and glosses. The Dior Lip Glow is a top favorite, as it provides a natural glow to the lips, and the NARS Afterglow Lip Balm is also a beautiful formula-the perfect Goldilocks not too slick and not too dry formula. The Fresh Sugar Lip Balms have always been a strong favorite, and by adding Berry to my collection, it’s the perfect sheer berry for winter. The Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y is a strong favorite as it’s a neutral pink perfect for this time of year.
